2 Weeks...

2 weeks ago it all started
2 weeks ago people lost their homes
2 weeks ago kids lost their toys
2 weeks ago Nashville, Tennessee changed....
Do you see the sign half under water?
Here it is today...

You cant drive far without seeing a lot of this...

And its weird seeing this everywhere you go....

This is sitting in middle of  downtown Nashville...

When was the last time your dishwasher was sitting in a parking lot?

People with hard hats working everywhere...

But you can turn the corner and see this and it makes me smile because this is Nashville-

It's good to see that Nashville is getting back on track. Hopefully it will be back to normal very soon.

Good to see that things are getting back to "semi-normal".

My prayers have been with Nashville every since the disaster.
I totally feel for ya'll.

I live south of New Orleans, and we flood for every hurricane that comes near the Louisiana coast.

I live on higher ground than most in my parish so it's so hard to see the people have to lose so much with each flood.

I think it's even harder for ya'll because it came out of no where.
Rebuilding is hard, but it makes the city stronger.
God Bless you and all the help that you've been able to provide for those in your town who need it.

This was heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. It's so good to see people cleaning up and trying to get back to normal. Great post.

Nashville will recover bc of exactly what your photographs show...hard working good people who will come together, roll up their sleeves, and work from dawn till dusk to bring their city back.

That is what makes Nashville so different. We are a community that comes together to lift one another up when one of us falls.

Can I just say how proud of Nashville I am ? I am a Texas girl, but I have never been SO proud of another state. Nashville has pulled itself together and fixed it's city without expecting someone else to do it for them! Sorry if I am stepping on any toes, but it makes me proud of you guys! Praying for your beautiful city of strong, brave people!

I had no idea you lived so near to me - God Bless this Town and all the people in it pulling together and getting things done. My heart aches for all that was lost but sings for all that has been gained through this.

Thank you for sharing your experience and these images. oxox
